Today, the Head of the Office of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Skopje, Ms. Afrodita Shalja, visited the State Statistical Office and had a meeting with the Director of the Office, Mr. Dejan Stankov.
The meeting highlighted the common interests for continuing and improving the established cooperation for better statistical production in several areas. The focus of interest was the support to the National Development Strategy, the need to strengthen the capacities of administrative data sources and planning of future activities as well as the possibilities for their implementation.
Both sides expressed their willingness to deepen the cooperation by defining specific activities to be implemented in the coming period.
