Pupils in fifth grade at the primary school “Krume Kepeski” from Skopje, together with their teachers, visited the State Statistical Office wishing to introduce themselves with the work of SSO and the data it produces. Namely, within the subject Society, the pupils learn about the demographic characteristics of the population in the Republic of Macedonia, so for that purpose a special presentation was prepared that illustrated the movement of the population in the Republic of Macedonia through the years, as well as its characteristics.
In the end, the pupils were presented the website of SSO and all interactive tools that they themselves can use to browse through the variety of data the site contains.
The pupils and their teachers showed a great interest for the statistical data about the education and population in Republic of Macedonia and satisfaction from the presentations and they expressed hope that in future we will have also occassions for joint meetings.
