On 21 and 22 December 2015, the State Statistical Office was host to representatives of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Office of Statistics of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Institute of Statistics of Republika Srpska.
The study visit of the delegation was initiated by the International Labour Organisation in the Republic of Macedonia, as the State Statistical Office, according to the assessment of international experts, has valuable experience from the implementation of the Labour Force Survey that can be transferred to the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Several topics in the field of social statistics were covered during the meetings, and there were also discussions about other issues related to the work of the statistical offices.
At the end of the visit, the guests expressed their satisfaction and appreciation, and further meetings were arranged with the aim of promoting regional cooperation and defining joint activities related to the sustainable development goals for 2015-2030.
