The Director of the State Statistical Office, Mr. Apostol Simovski, had a meeting with representatives of the US Embassy, ??Mr. Andrew Moffat, Political Adviser, and Mr. Jordan Damcevski, Senior Economic Analyst, as well as Ms. Dawn Carmin, USAID’s General Development Office Director.
The meeting focused on the upcoming Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, 2021, where the Director of the State Statistical Office informed the participants about the technical and logistical organisation of the Census, as well as the challenges currently faced by the State Statistical Office.
The meeting also discussed the possible reestablishment of cooperation between the State Statistical Office and USAID. The possibility was left for talks to continue after the completion of the Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, 2021.
