The State Statistical Office was host to first-year students from the Institute of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. The students and their professor, Prof. Dr. Anica Dragovic, were introduced to the work of the State Statistical Office and they showed particular interest in population statistics, for which a special presentation was prepared covering vital statistics, migrations and population censuses.
At the end, the students were familiarised with the contents and the abundance of data of the website of the Office, and especially the MakStat database as a tool for creating tables according to user needs.
The visit was organised as part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the State Statistical Office and the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje.
