Special Data Dissemination System Plus
The Republic of Macedonia adhered to the Special Data Dissemination Standard Plus– (SDDS Plus), established by the International Monetary Fund on 28th of January 2019.
The State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia, as a coordinator, jointly with the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance, passed the observing period for subscribing to SDDS Plus successfully and provided updated data for the creation of a national data page. The whole process was monitored, commented and approved by the IMF.
The National Summary Data Page - NSDP is posted on the website of the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia and includes macroeconomic indicators (data categories) related to the four sectors of the national economy – Real Sector, Fiscal Sector, Financial Sector, External Sector as well as for the Population. NSDP includes the dissemination of all data categories in the formats of the Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange (SDMX) standards, which is particularly suitable for computerised data processing.
Pages with the national metadata are included and posted on the IMF’s Dissemination Standards Bulletin Board – DSBB website.
The Advance release calendar (ARC) is included on the (IMF's website) and comprises provisional information concerning the timing of the data releases for four months in advance (current month and following three months).
