The 13th meeting of the Subcommittee on Economic and Financial Issues and Statistics under the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Macedonia took place yesterday. In accordance with the scope of work of the Subcommittee, the agenda included the following areas: economic and monetary developments in the Republic of Macedonia and in the EU; relations of the Republic of Macedonia with international financial institutions; overview the labour market situation; free movement of capital, financial control; statistics, as well as pre-accession issues - Economic Reform Programme (ERP) and financial cooperation with the EU. Participants from the State Statistical Office were the Director of the State Statistical Office, Ms. Lidija Kostovska, and the Deputy Director of the State Statistical Office, Mr. Dejan Stankov.
