On 5 October, the regular annual mission for evaluation of the State Statistical Office was carried out by Eurostat. Representative of Eurostat first had a meeting and discussion with the Director of the SSO. The representative was informed about the current activities of the Office as well as the future priorities for improvement of work processes, enhancement of quality and modernisation of the procedures for collecting and accessing data of the Office. There were also working meetings with employees from all sectors of the Office, who presented in detail their work and achievements towards harmonisation of Macedonian legislation with the EU acquis in statistics.
