The State Statistical Office was host today to economics students from the High School "Ljupco Santov" in Kocani. The Deputy Director of the SSO, Dejan Stankov MSc, gave a presentation on the importance of statistics, the development and achievements of statistics in Macedonia, and the role of the State Statistical Office in the national statistical system and in the European and global statistical family.
Employees of the Office presented the website of the SSO, and the MakStat database attracted particular attention with the ability to independently create tables and graphs.
The guests expressed their satisfaction with the visit and desire to continue this cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
