In the premises of the Info Center of the EU Delegation in Skopje an event was held that formalized the launch of the EU-funded project "Development of dedicated software and a database of economic statistics" in which the contractor is Comtrade system integration - Belgrade in a consortium with Dynamic Consalting - Skopje, and the beneficiary is the State Statistical Office. The focus of this project is the building of NAIMS (National Accounts Information Management System) using best practices from other EU statistics, as well as international standards and recommendations. The Director of the SSO, Mr. Apostol Simovski and the representative of the EU Delegation in the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Jaromir Lavichek spoked about the significance of the project. The objectives of the project were presented by Ms Biserka Komen, from the side of the contractor, and Mrs. Snezana Georgievska from the Sector for National Accounts spoke about the expected benefits for the State Statistical Office. The project will last 22 months and is fully funded by the IPA National Program 2013.
