Traditionally, this year the State Statistical Office welcomed the students and their professors from the Secondary Economic School "Jane Sandanski" from Bitola. At the meeting, the students were introduced to the basics of the statistical activity, the National Statistical System and the role and responsibilities of the State Statistical Office. Students of III year who are studying subject Statistics for the first time were interested in the types and methods of conducting statistical surveys, and especially for the largest statistical operation - the census. The students were introduced with the SSO's website as the main channel for disseminating statistical products and all the tools it offers to users for easier access to the requested data. Also, the website of the European Statistical Bureau Eurostat, ie the interactive tools for beginners in the field of statistics, was presented.
