According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2024, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 792 779 persons, of which 694 506 were employed, while 98 273 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 52.3%, the employment rate was 45.8%, while the unemployment rate was 12.4%.
