Turnover in retail and wholesale trade, fourth quarter, 2010

According to the data of the State Statistical Offce, in the period October-December 2010 the retail trade turnover was 25 273 million denars, and the turnover in wholesale trade was 39 365 million denars. In the period October-December 2010, compared with the period October-December 2009, the retail trade turnover increased by 5.8%, and the wholesale trade turnover increased by 10.4%.

The major part of the turnover by kind of payment in retail trade was performed in cash (91.0%).

Loans were mostly used for sale of motor vehicles (12.3% of the total sale of vehicles).
