According to the data of the State Statistical Office, a total of 10 989 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport in
the fourth quarter of 2024, a decrease of 1.6% compared to the same period last year. According to the kind of transport, the number
of passengers carried in urban transport increased by 0.3%, in suburban transport decreased by 8.2%, in national transport increased
by 5.9%, and in international transport increased by 100.5%.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, in comparison with the same period of 2023, the total number of passenger-kilometres in road passenger
transport increased by 24.8%. According to the kind of transport, the number of passenger-kilometres in urban transport increased by
15.1%, in suburban transport increased by 11.2%, in national transport decreased by 1.2%, and in international transport increased by
41.2%.
