According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the III quarter of 2012, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 940 657 persons, of which 652 498 or 69.4% were employed, while 288 159 or 30.6 % were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.3, the employment rate was 39.1, while the unemployment rate was 30.6.
