According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the IV quarter of 2011, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 937 326 persons, of which 639 340 or 68.2% were employed, while 297 986 or 31.8% were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.5, the employment rate was 38.5, while the unemployment rate was 31.8.
