According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2020, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 967 733 persons, of which 811 106 were employed, while 156 627 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.4, the employment rate was 48.1, while the unemployment rate was 16.2.
