According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the II quarter of 2019, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 962 463 persons, of which 794 283 were employed, while 168 180 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.1, the employment rate was 47.1, while the unemployment rate was 17.5.
