According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the III quarter of 2018, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 958 770 persons, of which 759 445 were employed, while 199 325 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.0, the employment rate was 45.1, while the unemployment rate was 20.8.
