According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the IV quarter of 2017, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 953 692 persons, of which 745 206 were employed, while 208 486 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.8, the employment rate was 44.3, while the unemployment rate was 21.9.
