According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2017, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 952 644 persons, of which 734 043 were employed, while 218 601 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.7, the employment rate was 43.7, while the unemployment rate was 22.9.
