According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2015, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 959 388 persons, of which 697 248 were employed, while 262 140 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.3, the employment rate was 41.6, while the unemployment rate was 27.3.
