According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2024, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 790 152 persons, of which 691 736 were employed, while 98 416 were unemployed persons. The activity rate in this period was 52.1, the employment rate was 45.6, while the unemployment rate was 12.5.
