According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2014, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 958 392 persons, of which 686 277 were employed, while 272 115 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.3, the employment rate was 41.0, while the unemployment rate was 28.4.
