According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2021, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 943964 persons, of which 793121 were employed, while 150843 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.0, the employment rate was 47.1, while the unemployment rate was 16.0.
