According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in 2020, the labour force in the Republic of North Macedonia numbered 950 858 persons, of which 794 909 were employed, while 155 949 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 56.4, the employment rate was 47.2, while the unemployment rate was 16.4.
