According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the III quarter of 2013, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 957 417 persons, of which 682 448 were employed, while 274 969 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.3, the employment rate was 40.8, while the unemployment rate was 28.7.
