According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the I quarter of 2013, the labour force in the Republic of Macedonia numbered 953 780 persons, of which 668 957 were employed, while 284 823 were unemployed persons.
The activity rate in this period was 57.0, the employment rate was 40.0, while the unemployment rate was 29.9.
