External trade volume, January-July 2015

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, the total value of exported goods from the Republic of Macedonia
in the period January-July 2015 was 141 880 618 thousand denars, equivalent to 2 557 911 thousand US dollars or 2 302 954
thousand euros.
The total value of imported goods in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January-July 2015 amounted to 202 474 799
thousand denars, equivalent to 3 650 953 thousand US dollars or 3 286 458 thousand euros.
The trade deficit in the period January-July 2015 was 60 594 181 thousand denars, equivalent to 1 093 042 thousand US dollars
or 983 504 thousand euros.
Import coverage by export in the period January-July was 70.1%.
The external trade by products shows that in the exports the most significant products are supported catalysts with precious
metal or precious metal compounds as the active substance, ferro-nickel, ignition wiring sets and other wiring sets of a kind used
in vehicles, aircraft or ships, iron and steel products (flat-rolled products). In the imports, the most significant products are the
platinum and platinum alloys, unwrought or in powder form, petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other
than crude), electricity and other metals of the platinum group and alloys thereof, unwrought or in powder form.
