External trade volume, January-June 2015

According to the preliminary data of the State Statistical Office, the total value of exported goods from the Republic of Macedonia
in the period January-June 2015 was 120 312 877 thousand denars, equivalent to 2 173 287 thousand US dollars or 1 953 215
thousand euros.
The total value of imported goods in the Republic of Macedonia in the period January-June 2015 amounted to 171 697 690
thousand denars, equivalent to 3 101 797 thousand US dollars or 2 787 458 thousand euros.
The trade deficit in the period January-June 2015 was 51 384 813 thousand denars, equivalent to 928 510 thousand US dollars
or 834 243 thousand euros.
Import coverage by export in the period January-June 2015 was 70.1%.
The external trade by products shows that in the exports the most significant products are supported catalysts with precious
metal or precious metal compounds as the active substance, ferro-nickel, ignition wiring sets and other wiring sets of a kind used
in vehicles, aircraft or ships, iron and steel products (flat-rolled products). In the imports, the most significant products are the
platinum and platinum alloys, unwrought or in powder form, petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals (other
than crude), electricity and other metals of the platinum group and alloys thereof, unwrought or in powder form.
