According to the State Statistical Offce data, the number of parking lots and garages in 2010 was 73, having an area of 183 294 m?.

According to the processed data, 8 508 parking spaces, with an area of 161 334 m?, are in an open space, while in the covered garages there are only 526 spaces, with an area of 10 060 m?.

The annual survey on parking lots and garages encompasses 8 reporting units, and it was conducted for the frst time in 2007.

This survey covers business entities that provide public parking in Skopje, Ohrid and Strumitsa.
