Transport of passengers and goods in the second quarter of 2012 According

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2012, the number of passengers carried in road
passenger transport was 4 064 000, in rail transport 251 000, in urban-suburban transport 18 954 000, while the number of
passengers carried in air transport was 227 578.
In the same period, in comparison with the second quarter of 2011, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport
increased by 14.1%, in air transport by 5.9%, while in rail transport it increased by 17.6%.
