According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2020, a total of 1 215 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport, 15 277 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 93 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 429 869 passengers were carried in air transport.
In the first quarter of 2020, in comparison with the same period of 2019, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport decreased by 7.6%, in rail transport increased by 0.7%, while in air transport it decreased by 6.4%.
