According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the fourth quarter of 2019, a total of 1 605 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport, 19 191 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 148 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 623 546 passengers were carried in air transport.
In the fourth quarter of 2019, in comparison with the same period of 2018, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased by 19.3% and in rail transport by 50.0%, whereas in air transport it decreased by 10.1%.
