Transport of passengers and goods in the third quarter of 2010

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the third quarter of 2010, the number of passengers carried in rail transport was 379 000, in urban-suburban transport 13 001 000, whereas the number of passengers carried in air transport was 253 365.

In the same period the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased by 15.9%, in rail transport by 5.8%, whereas in air transport it increased by 14.0%.
