Transport of passengers and goods in the fourth quarter of 2015

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the fourth quarter of 2015, the number of passengers carried in road
passenger transport was 1 927 000, in rail transport 352 000, in urban-suburban transport 22 433 000, while the number of
passengers carried in air transport was 375 600.
In the same period, in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2014, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport
increased by 39.7%, in rail transport it decreased by 32.0%, while in air transport it decreased by 10.3%.
