According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the third quarter of 2015, the number of passengers carried in road passenger transport was 2 159 000, in urban-suburban transport 16 839 000, in rail transport 309 000, while the number of passengers carried in air transport was 542 341.
In the same period, in comparison with the third quarter of 2014, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased by 25.0%, in rail transport it decreased by 47.2%, while in air transport it decreased by 45.1%.
