According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2015, the number of passengers carried in national and international road passenger transport was 2 090 000, in rail transport 156 000, in urban-suburban transport 19 987 000, while the number of passengers carried in air transport was 268 046.
In the same period, in comparison with the first quarter of 2014, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased by 14.3%, in air transport it decreased by 19.4%, while in rail transport it decreased by 19.6%.
