According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the fourth quarter of 2014, the number of passengers carried in road passenger transport was 2 813 000, in rail transport 222 000, in urban-suburban transport 22 919 000, while the number of passengers carried in air transport was 289 175.
In the same period, in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2013, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport decreased by 14.2%, in rail transport it decreased by 2.2%, whereas in air transport it increased by 18.6%.
