Transport of passengers and goods in the third quarter of 2014

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the third quarter of 2014, the number of passengers carried in road
passenger transport was 1 929 000, in rail transport 208 000, in urban-suburban transport 19 669 000, while the number of
passengers carried in air transport was 428 284.
In the same period, in comparison with the third quarter of 2013, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased
by 13.2%, in rail transport by 21.3%, and in air transport it increased by 96.4%.
