Transport of passengers and goods in the second quarter of 2014

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2014, the number of passengers carried in
road passenger transport was 1 711 000, in rail transport 191 000, in urban-suburban transport 22 000 000, while the number of
passengers carried in air transport was 349 626.
In the same period, in comparison with the second quarter of 2013, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport
decreased by 1.6%, in rail transport by 2.4%, whereas in air transport it increased by 15.8%.
