Transport of passengers and goods in the fourth quarter of 2023

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the fourth quarter of 2023, the number of passengers carried in road passenger

transport is 942 thousands, in urban-suburban transport is 10 224 thousands, in rail transport is 49 thousands, whereas the number of

passengers carried in air transport is 789 856.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, in comparison with the same period of 2022, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport

decreased by 28.4%, in rail transport decreased by 57.8%, whereas in air transport it increased by 24.3%.
