Transport of passengers and goods in the second quarter of 2023

According to the data of State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2023, a total of 1 048 thousand passengers were carried in road

passenger transport, 11 539 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 73 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 843 654

passengers were carried in air transport.

In the second quarter of 2023, in comparison with the same period of 2022, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport

decreased by 19.6%, in rail transport decreased by 32.3%, while in air transport decreased by 19.3%.
