Transport of passengers and goods in the second quarter of 2022

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the second quarter of 2022, a total of 893 thousand passengers were carried in

road passenger transport, 10 574 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 105 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 598

792 passengers were carried in air transport.

In the second quarter of 2022, in comparison with the same period of 2021, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport

decreased by 3.3 %, in rail transport decreased by 28.5 %, while in air transport it decreased by 15.6 %.
