According to the data of State Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2021, a total of 580 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport, 8 562 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 59 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 154 709 passengers were carried in air transport.
In the first quarter of 2021, in comparison with the same period of 2020, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport decreased by 17.8%, in rail transport it increased by 4.3%, and in air transport it increased by 2.6%.
