Transport of passengers and goods in the first quarter of 2013

According to the data of the State Statistical Office, in the first quarter of 2013, the number of passengers carried in road
passenger transport was 3 679 000, in rail transport 197 000, in urban-suburban transport 16 660 000, while the number of
passengers carried in air transport was 191 957.
In the same period, in comparison with the first quarter of 2012, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased
by 47.9%, in air transport by 20.7%, whereas in rail transport it decreased by 4.9%.
