According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in April 2012 was 40 700, and the number of nights
spent by tourists was 85 197.
The number of tourists in April 2012, compared to April 2011, increased by 9.6%, whereas the number of nights spent decreased
by 2.5%.
The number of domestic tourists in April 2012, compared to April 2011, increased by 1.6%, while the number of foreign tourists
increased by 14.4%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in April 2012, compared to April 2011, decreased by 9.0%, whereas the number
of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 3.1%.
The number of tourists in the period January-April 2012, compared to the same period last year, increased by 4.6%: the number
of domestic tourists decreased by 0.7%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 8.5%.
The number of nights spent in the period January-April 2012, compared to the same period last year, decreased by 0.7%: the
number of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 3.9%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 2.3%
