According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in April 2011 was 37 142, and the number of nights spent by tourists was 87 413.
The number of tourists in April 2011, compared to April 2010, increased by 2.8%, and the number of nights spent increased by 1.3%.
The number of domestic tourists in April 2011, compared to April 2010, decreased by 16.9%, whereas the number of foreign tourists increased by 19.8%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in April 2011, compared to April 2010, decreased by 18.8%, while the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 29.0%.
The number of tourists in the period January - April 2011, compared to the same period last year, increased by 8.7%: the number of domestic tourists decreased by 4.3%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 20.5%.
The number of nights spent in the period January - April 2011, compared to the same period last year, increased by 5.1%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 9.7%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 24.0%.
