According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in March 2019 was 54 826, and the number of nights spent by tourists was 112 770.
The number of tourists in March 2019, compared to March 2018, increased by 1.8%, and the number of nights spent increased by 3.8%.
The number of domestic tourists in March 2019, compared to March 2018, increased by 0.8%, while the number of foreign tourists increased by 2.3%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in March 2019, compared to March 2018, increased by 6.5%, whereas the number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 2.4%. In the period January - March 2019, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 2.2%: the number of domestic tourists increased by 4.9%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 0.7%.
