According to the data of the State Statistical Office, the number of tourists in August 2018 was 211 746, and the number of nights spent
by tourists was 881 806.
The number of tourists in August 2018, compared to August 2017, increased by 12.2%, and the number of nights spent increased by
15.0%.
The number of domestic tourists in August 2018, compared to August 2017, increased by 18.1%, while the number of foreign tourists
increased by 5.8%.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists in August 2018, compared to August 2017, increased by 17.9%, and the number of
nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 7.6%.
In the period January - August 2018, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 15.0%: the number of
domestic tourists increased by 14.5%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 15.3%.
In the period January - August 2018, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent increased by 16.1%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 14.8%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 18.0%.
